The Vocabulary of Maltese Style Fashion Show, Hosted by Hon.Marlene Mizzi

Hello my fellow readers,

On Friday 31st June, was the fashion show and opening of the exhibition: The Vocabulary of Maltese Style. The exhibition was held at the House of Representatives/Maltese Parliament in Valletta.
Hon. Marlene Mizzi (MEP) organised this event and exhibition as part of Malta's EU Presidency.
The exhibition revealed the links between the fashion of mainland Europe and the one created in Malta. One can see 100 years of Maltese fashion from 1917 till 2017.

On the day, both curator Luke Azzopardi and the duo Charles and Ron showcased their latest Spring/Summer collections. Here you can see some photos from the fashion show which took place on the stairs right next to the parliament:

This is what I wore for the event:

I went for a cream lace dress since I thought I should wear something vintage looking. Since I was paying attention to the details in the items of the exhibition, I thought I'd pay a bit to mine too and here you can see a photo of the detailing of my dress.
